Welch, WV (WOAY) A job fair is coming up this week in McDowell County for those looking to start a career in public safety.
The West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation will host a hiring event at Stevens Correctional Center and Jail on Thursday, April 2.
Applicants should bring identification, a social security card, a diploma or GED, and any college transcripts.
There are several job opportunities available in corrections, case management, food service, special operations, and more.
The event starts at 9:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm.
