Charleston, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA) is accepting applications for the 2026 Specialty Crop Block grant program.
Applicants will submit proposals dedicated to reinforcing and expanding the state’s agricultural economy.
Awarded funds will be used to enhance the production, processing, and consumption of specialty crops in the Mountain State.
Recipients will have two years to plan, implement, and collect information on their project.
In FY2025, WVDA awarded $302,000 in funding for projects statewide.
The application deadline is Friday, January 30.
