Bandy, Virginia (WOAY) A Virginia man is facing robbery charges in Tazewell County.
According to authorities, on Monday evening, an intoxicated man entered the rear entrance of a Subway location in North Tazewell where he was formerly employed.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Matthew Wayne Bradley of Bandy, Virginia, allegedly walked to the cash register in the front of the restaurant and began taking cash out.
An on-duty manager reportedly confronted Bradley, which resulted in a physical altercation, leaving both with minor injuries.
Bradley allegedly refused to leave the store or return the money.
Authorities charged Bradley with robbery, and he is being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
