USPS to close on June 19 in observation of Juneteenth holiday

West Virginia (WOAY) If you need to visit the Post Office this week, keep this in mind.

The U.S. Postal Service will observe Juneteenth on Friday, June 19.

All Post Office locations will be closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery.

Retail services and mail delivery are scheduled to resume Saturday, June 20.

Even while Post Offices are closed, customers can still access many postal services online, including package tracking, shipping labels, and stamp purchases.

Self-service kiosks at select locations also allow customers to weigh and mail packages, print postage, and access tracking information.

USPS says many kiosks are available around the clock, providing convenient access to postal services during the holiday closure.
