Fayette County, WV (WOAY)- We have an update on the deceased body found in Fayette County.
On Tuesday, we reported that a body was found in a ditch along U.S. Route 60 in the Charleston Heights area. (A link to that report can be found here.)
Fayette County Sheriff Jess McMullen has told media that they now have the identity of the body. He is Robert L. Waller, a 47-year-old man from Wayne County.
The deceased was reported as missing on Wednesday, July 9.
The cause of death is still under investigation at this time. We will update you as we learn more.
