Two patients test positive for COVID-19 at Beckley nursing facility, results are conflicting

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Additional patients have tested positive for COVID-19 at Harper Mills in Beckley, but results are conflicting.

Kristin Anderson, the media spokesperson, released the following information to WOAY: “As part of our ongoing testing at Harper Mills, we have identified two additional patients as having a positive COVID-19 test. Since that time, we have administered a follow-up test to both patients, and both returned as negative. In other words, those patients now have one positive and one negative COVID-19 test. We are in the process of administering a third COVID-19 test along with an antibody test.”
