DANIELS, WV (WOAY) – The United Way of Southern West Virginia is planning to host a golfing fundraiser Friday September 25th at the Woodhaven golf course in Glade Springs Resort.
Slots are still available for those interested. Executive Director of the United Way of Southern West Virginia Megan Legursky says the idea of the fundraiser will be a fun way to bring in the fall and help raise money for the organization.Â
“We had a very successful safe and social golf tournament in May. So I wanted to close out this beautiful season and swing in the fall with our Safe and Swinging Social. It’s a great way to get people together, move forward together, give together and stay safe,” said Legursky.
Tee times will be at 1 PM.
