Temporary water outage scheduled in Cunard for April 18

Cunard, WV (WOAY)- A temporary water outage in Fayette County has been scheduled for Thursday, April 18.

The outages will impact 103 Cunard residents from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. 

Impacted areas include: 

• Mcguire hills road 
• Creekside road 
• Woodland lane 
• Water Plant road 
• Brooklyn loop 
• Old Landfill road 
• Cunard road  
• Sears road

A precautionary boil water advisory will be put into effect after the outage.  

After service is restored, West Virginia American Water will analyze water quality samples from the area for the next 24 hours. 

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may impact the project schedule.
