CLAY, WV (WOAY) – A teenager from Clay, WV, is heading to Hollywood after he won over the American Idol judges.
Zack Dobbins, 18, was paving roads before he auditioned on American Idol. He sang his original song, “Misuse,” with an acoustic guitar.
Dobbins says he grew up on music because his family played it. He said it’s a passion for him. Dobbins said he never had been on a plane and is super excited to go to Hollywood.
