Hinton, WV (WOAY) – The Summers County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance as it investigates a hit-and-run crash that damaged property at a county facility.
A vehicle struck the fence at the Summers County Recycling Collections Center on Greenbrier Drive before leaving the scene, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators are reviewing available video evidence as they work to identify the driver.
Deputies believe the vehicle involved is a Subaru with extensive damage to one side. The specific model has not been determined.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information, surveillance footage from the area, or knowledge of a matching vehicle to come forward.
