Summers County Commission closes public access to courthouse

SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – In response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the Summers County Commission is closing public access to the courthouse, judicial annex, and the medical building effective March 20, 2020 until further notice.

Many of the courthouse services can be performed by telephone, mail, drop box or online and do not require a trip to the offices. Visit www.summerscountywv.gov/ for contact information for each county office.

The Summers County Circuit Court, Magistrate Court and Family Court shall continue to operate. To stay informed on the latest coronavirus updates, visit coronavirus.wv.gov.
