Summers County 911 Center urges everyone to stay safe and warm at available warming centers across the county

Hinton, WV (WOAY)- The Summers County 911 Center is urging everyone to stay safe and warm by sharing available warming centers across the county.

Those in need of shelter can visit the following locations:

  • Talcott Fire Department at 263 Pat Ball Road 
  • Forest Hill Fire Department at 16166 State Route 12 
  • Sandstone Missionary Baptist Church at 29 Honaker Road  
  •  Summers County Memorial Building at 451 1st Avenue in Hinton 
If the need arises, the memorial building will also serve as the county’s overnight shelter.
