LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY)- While the state fair isn’t till August, they have some fun coming up in June you do not want to miss. They’ll be holding their first-ever Wild Trails Festival.
This 3-day festival will be June 19th-21st and will be filled with tons of local music. The headliners will be Oliver Anthony, Treaty Oak Revival, and Flatland Calvary, more acts will be announced as we get closer.
As of now, they have 3-day passes available at $145 as an early bird discount. They are doing this as 2025 is the 100th anniversary of the State Fair of West Virginia.
“It’s over West Virginia Day weekend. So what a better weekend to celebrate our state than have a music festival here at the state fair,” said Kelly Collins, CEO of State Fair of West Virginia. “We talk a lot in this community about if you look at Carnegie Hall, the State Fair, Healing Appalachia, and the PGA concerts that we’ve had here, there’s not many small towns across America that have had the caliber of music we have. It’s truly special. So we hope to continue this event every year and grow it every year because we’ve got a perfect setup logistically with the campground and the state fairgrounds, the hotel rooms, the vendors, you know, even the shopping in downtown Lewisburg and the other surrounding towns. It’s really a perfect area to have a music festival. Any time we can bring in more people to Greenbrier Valley to see what we have to offer, the more special.”
