WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The StormWatch 4 weather team has derived its spring outlook and let’s just say it has something for everyone!
We identified the top signals that will lead our weather pattern from March to May. Those include: a fading La Nina, analog years with a positive Tropical Northern Hemisphere pattern during the winter, years with similar Northern Hemisphere Sea Surface Temperature Anomalies to what has been occurring over the last few months, similar Quasi-Biennial Oscillation patterns and similar analog years with a slightly positive East Atlantic pattern.
