Southside Junction Tap House in Fayetteville reopens

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – At 5 p.m. today, Southside Junction Tap House opened its doors for the first time in two months.

The pub in downtown Fayetteville is known for its food, beer, and regular entertainment, but guests can expect a few changes the next time they stop by.

Only 16 customers are allowed inside at a time, and until further notice, there will be no pool, darts, or live trivia. Even without their popular events, staff members can’t wait to welcome back their customers.

“You get that Cheers effect when you walk into the tap house,’ said co-owner Cassidy Bayes. “It was like everybody knows your name when you walk in. We say ‘hi,’ we hug. Minus the hugging now, we will do the same thing. We’ll say their name and smile when we see them and make sure we give them their favorite beer that’s on draft. ”

During the pandemic, Southside Junction Tap House will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
