Grandview, WV (WOAY) Celebrate Appalachian history and culture at a free event inside New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.
“Sounds of Appalachia” takes place Tuesday, June 30, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 at the Cliffside Amphitheatre in Grandview.
The event will feature interpretive talks, living history presentations, and live music as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.
Musical guests will include Doris “Lady D” Fields, Thomas Jude, Mary Dailey as Minnie Reed, and Woodbine.
The evening is presented in partnership with Friends of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Theatre West Virginia.
