Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Wednesday, December 18th from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
The checkpoint will be located along U.S. Route 19, around 0.1 mile south of the intersection with Airport Road in Beaver.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired drivers and educate the public on the dangers of driving while under the influence. The State Police ask for your help by reporting any intoxicated drivers you see.
