A Winter Weather Advisory will last until 1 AM Tuesday for all the counties in our area. Snow will likely start around the 3 AM time frame Monday and last throughout the day Monday, ending by the evening.

This is a look at what 7 AM Monday could look like around the region and it could be a very rough morning commute for most towns in our area. Heavy bands of snow look to develop at some points during the morning hours Monday, leading to slick conditions and low visibility at times.

Most of the area should pick up 1-3 inches of snow, with 3-5 inches likely in the higher elevation areas above 3,000 feet. There could also be pockets in the 1-3 inch area that do receive more due to the elevation and heavier snow banding.

Looking ahead to the 7 day forecast, we will have multiple snow storms move through the region after today. Wednesday and Thursday look to have spotty chances for snow, before snow becomes likely again Thursday night into Friday before the temperatures really fall off. Highs in the low 20’s next weekend with lows approaching or falling into the single digits.
