WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A small group of snow squalls will hit the area with fast-falling snow across the area, prompting the National Weather Service to issue both a Winter Storm Advisory and a Winter Strom Warning for a majority of the area. Snow accumulation will generally be above an inch with more mountainous areas receiving heavier snowfall.
Saturday gives us a break from the snow and sloppy conditions before the next system comes through on Sunday into Monday with rain, sleet, and snow across the area. Icy conditions are expected to start next week, especially in the Greenbrier Valley. Tuesday and on will see lingering snow across the area, dwindling as the week goes on.
