WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): We experienced some severe weather in our area today in the form of damaging winds. A few trees have been downed in Raleigh County while some of the eastern counties have experienced power outages. Thankfully, we get a break on Monday after the morning showers dissipate.
New Year’s Eve will see showers going into New Year’s Day, turning into snow after both the ball and the temperatures drop. Thursday is clearing up again before more snow quickly comes by on Friday, clearing on Saturday only to reveal a stronger batch of snow and rain showers to end off the weekend on Sunday.
