Senator Donna Boley has retired from the West Virginia Senate

Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – Senator Donna Boley retired from the West Virginia Senate.

Boley served more than 40 years, making her the longest-serving member of the state senate in West Virginia history. She served Senate District 3.

Governor Patrick Morrisey shared a few words about Boley and her retirement.

Morrisey said in part, “Senator Boley’s dedication to her constituents, her steady leadership, and commitment to public service have left a lasting mark on our state. Through the decades, she earned the trust of West Virginians and served with integrity. I thank Senator Boley for her extraordinary service. West Virginia is stronger thanks to her contributions.”
