Charleston, WV (WOAY)- It’s election day, and the anticipation is high.
Secretary of State Mac Warner announces that excited voters can keep up with statewide legislative, judicial, and local results at GoVoteWV.com.
County clerks will have secure access to the election site to upload results throughout the night.
Counties will upload unofficial race results starting at 8:30 pm.
Secretary Warner states that over 1,600 voting precincts are open statewide, with polls opening at 6:30 am.
Voting ends at 7:30 pm, but voters in line at the close of polls are advised to stay as they will be allowed to vote.
