Ridgeview Elementary leadership team meets to plan school re-entry

CRAB ORCHARD, WV (WOAY) – Raleigh County schools are meeting to develop a re-entry plan for each individual school.

The Ridgeview Elementary School leadership team met Monday-Wednesday this week so that students can safely return. Ridgeview students who come back for in-person classes will be at school for two days each week.

“We have to develop a safety plan for the students as to how they will come in,” said Ridgeview Counselor Erin Price. “From the moment they walk in our doors, until the moment they exit their doors, we have to come up with a new plan as to how school is going to look. We want our students to be safe. We want our students to social distance.”

Ridgeview employees are confident that they are prepared to make this undertaking as safe as possible for their students.
