Recap of the 2024 Screen Actors Guild awards

LOS ANGELES, CA (WOAY)- The Screen Actors Guild held its 30th annual award show tonight in Los Angeles. Tonight’s awards honored both motion picture and television. This was the first awards after the SAG-AFTRA strike last year, this was also the first time they have streamed the awards via Netflix.

Going into the awards “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” lead the charge with most nominations for motion picture awards, including outstanding cast.

The comedy series “The Bear” took home most awards for television with 3, whereas “Oppenheimer” took home the same amount for motion picture.

The legendary actress Barbra Streisand was honored with the Life Achievement award for her career.
