Raleigh County woman sentenced in connection with Beckley drug trafficking organization

Beckley, WV (WOAY)- a Beckley woman has been sentenced in connection with drug trafficking.

According to court documents, in April 2024, 48-year-old Kimberly Rosetta Logan of Beckley sold fentanyl to a confidential informant at her home.

Logan admitted to the transaction and to selling additional amounts of drugs to other individuals and also using them herself through May 2024.

She reportedly ordered an average of 8 grams of fentanyl and 4 grams of cocaine a week from a supplier based in Beckley over the phone.

On Monday, she pleaded guilty to her role in the drug trafficking organization that distributed meth, fentanyl, and crack cocaine in Beckley and other areas through Southern West Virginia.

Judge Frank W. Volk sentenced Logan to two years and 10 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for the distribution of fentanyl.

Logan is one of twelve individuals indicted on charges suggesting the suspects conspired to distribute drugs throughout the southern district of West Virginia.
