Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Fayette County residents are invited to attend a free community education event focused on opioid overdose prevention.
Fayette County Quick Response will host a free naloxone (Narcan) training on Monday, June 15, at 1:00 p.m. at The Hive.
Paula McCutcheon will teach participants how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and provide information about life-saving intervention techniques.
Attendees will also receive free naloxone spray kits while supplies last.
The event is open to the public, and organizers encourage parents, grandparents, teachers, business owners, and community members to attend and learn how they can help save lives.
