Beckley, WV (WOAY)—The Raleigh County WIC clinic will host a pop-up market on Tuesday, October 8, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
WIC participants can redeem their Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits at the pop-up market.
The FMNP maximum benefit is $30 for eligible WIC participants, to be spent from June 1 through October 31.
Authorized farm stands and farmer’s markets will accept the WIC program’s monthly cash value benefits for purchasing fresh produce.
The event is open to the public at the Raleigh County WIC Clinic at 1600 Harper Road in Beckley.
