Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is hosting two upcoming recruiting events for anyone interested in a career in law enforcement.
Recruiting officer Sergeant B.J. Adkins will have a table set up at Planet Fitness in Beckley on Monday, May 18, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Sergeant Adkins will also be at Bodyworks in Beckley on Wednesday, May 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Officials say the events are an opportunity for community members to learn more about careers, benefits, and opportunities available through the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Frank Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton are also thanking Planet Fitness and Bodyworks for supporting the department’s recruiting efforts.
