Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is preparing for its next “you are not alone” outreach event.
The outreach will take place on Saturday, August 15, from 5:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. at the Raleigh County Day Report Center on Prince Street.
The event aims to connect people with support and resources, without judgment.
Resources will include substance use treatment and recovery services, mental health services, food and hygiene supplies, peer support, and referrals.
Organizers say the event is about meeting people where they are and providing “help on the spot.”
The sheriff’s office encourages anyone who could benefit from these services to stop by.
The event is free and open to anyone in need of support.
