Beckley, WV (WOAY) A new year is a time for everyone to start fresh and focus on their goals.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and its partners want the community to know that they are not alone.
The sheriff’s office and partnering organizations will host the first You Are Not Alone Outreach event of the year on Saturday, January 17.
The event will be at the Raleigh County Day Report Center at 115 W Prince Street in Beckley from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Sergeant B. J. Adkins organized the event to bring on-site resources to people struggling with substance abuse, mental health, or homelessness seeking assistance.
Outreach teams will be set up to offer help with no questions asked.
