Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office announces upcoming DUI checkpoint

Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the date for its next DUI checkpoint.

According to a media release from the department, the Sobriety Checkpoint will take place on Tuesday July 15, 2025, from 6pm until 12am (Midnight).  The location will be on WV Route 99 in the Fairdale area of Raleigh County.

Deputies will also be checking for proper registration and insurance documents, occupant safety violations, etc.

The Sobriety Checkpoint is funded by the WV Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention.
