Raleigh County Public Library serving as cooling center amid heat wave

Beckley, WV (WOAY) As summer temperatures continue to climb, the Raleigh County Public Library is once again serving as a cooling center for the community. 

Residents are invited to stop by during regular business hours to cool off in the air conditioning, enjoy free Wi-Fi, use computers, read a book, or take a break from the heat. 

The library also offers cool drinking water and public restrooms for visitors.

The Raleigh County Public Library opens at 9:00 a.m. and is located on North Kanawha Street in Beckley.
