Beckley, WV (WOAY) In honor of Read Across America Week, the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority is debuting a brand-new featured book at the Dry Hill–Prosperity Storybook Walk.
Families are invited to enjoy a refreshing walk through Dry Hill-Prosperity Park while reading along with a great story posted throughout the trail.
The Raleigh County Public Library will also be on-site with a table full of giveaways for kids and parents alike.
The event takes place on Thursday, March 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at Dry Hill–Prosperity Park, located at 1829 Maxwell Hill Road in Beckley.
Organizers say it’s a fun and active way to celebrate reading as a family.
