Raleigh County Judge to be honored at WV CASA Awards Gala on February 7

Beckley, WV (WOAY) One impactful non-profit is recognizing a Raleigh County judge for his commitment to children in the court system.

The West Virginia CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Association will honor the honorable Andrew Dimlich as Judge of the Year at the 2026 WV CASA Awards Gala.

CASA of New River nominated Judge Dimlich for his leadership, fairness, and dedication to putting the best interests of abused and neglected children first.

CASA New River director Dr. Kristi Dumas says Judge Dimlich exemplifies service with consistency, compassion, and heart.

The gala will also recognize advocates and partners from across the state, including attorney of the year, CPS worker of the year, and CASA advocate of the year.

WV CASA serves more than 5,500 children each year through trained volunteer advocates.

The awards gala is on February 7 at Stonewall Resort.
