BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Raleigh County Humane Society urges people to foster animals during this uncertain time.
Raleigh County Humane Society is closed to the public but is still looking for foster homes for animals. Receptionist Melodie Davis says despite the pandemic animals continue to come in and the shelter is in need of pet fosters.
“We’re doing no contact with our animals so if someone wants to foster or adopt, we’ll put them in a pin for them with a worker and they call us when they get here and they can pick up the animal,” said Davis.
