Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Raleigh County Historical Society is inviting the community to step back in time during Founder’s Day 2026.
The free living history event takes place on May 30 from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m at the Wildwood House Museum on Laurel Terrace in Beckley.
Visitors can experience historical reenactors, guided tours, cemetery walks, live music, artisan vendors, crafts, and even live animals while learning about life in 1860 Appalachia.
Organizers say the event offers something for the whole family and gives guests the chance to explore one of Beckley’s oldest homes while experiencing the sights and stories of the region’s past.
