PSC of WV has scheduled a hearing as part of its investigation into Black Diamond Power

Wyoming County, WV (WOAY) – The Public Service Commission of West Virginia has scheduled a hearing as part of its ongoing proceedings and investigation into Black Diamond Power.

The Public Service Commission staff recommended that Black Diamond Power extend power to a new Wyoming County Elementary School at no cost.

The company charged the Wyoming County Board of Education $80,000 to make the connection, prompting the board to file a complaint, alleging price gouging.

The hearing is set for January 15 at the County Commission meeting room in Pineville.

The Public Service Commission has launched an investigation into the company over complaints of poor service, mistakes in billing, and power surges.
