Princeton Health Center reports additional positive COVID-19 tests from residents and staff

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Princeton Health Care Center is reporting more positive COVID-19 tests from patients and residents.

Since March, there have been four employees who have tested positive for Covid-19. Two have fully recovered, while two continue to recover at home. We have four residents that have tested positive. There are fifteen other individuals (residents and employees combined) that we are monitoring due to COVID like symptoms, some of which have had a recent negative Covid-19 test.

All current residents who are symptomatic and/or confirmed cases are being isolated to a specific Covid-19 designated care area. Those individuals are being cared for by designated/dedicated staff members.

Visitation of residents remains suspended until further notice. We continue to encourage window visits, the use of Skype video conferencing, phone calls, and written communication to stay in touch with loved ones.
