BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – A high-speed chase ended in Bluefield, Virginia, today.
A suspect was running from law enforcement, fleeing eastbound on Route 460.
The driver lost control and wrecked near the intersection at Commerce Drive. He tried to get away on foot, but officers from the Bluefield Police Department caught him behind the First Community Bank Corporate Center.
The suspect is in custody, and police say there is no danger to the public.
