Over 2 million dollars in grants will be awarded to state to build business-ready sites

Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has awarded over 2 million dollars in grants to develop business-ready sites across the state.

These awards are part of a bigger goal of strengthening the state’s inventory of business-ready sites, allowing more investments for the state to take place.

The grants are a part of the Ready Sites Program, administered by the Division of Economic Development.

The Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation, the McDowell County Economic Development Authority, the Bluefield Economic Development Authority, and the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority will all receive $75,000 each.
