RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – One northbound lane on the West Virginia turnpike is closed between the Robert C. Byrd Drive and Harper Road exits after a tractor-trailer overturned on the highway Wednesday morning.
Raleigh County dispatchers tell WOAY calls regarding the vehicle first came in around 7:30 AM, with Turnpike police confirming lumber spilled off the vehicle onto the road. No injuries are reported at this time, and both southbound lanes are unaffected.
The Mabscott Fire Department and Jan-Care Ambulance were also among the first responder crews on the scene.
