Princeton, WV (WOAY)- One individual is dead and another is being treated for serious injuries following an early morning UTV accident in Mercer County.
According to Mercer County sheriffs, around 2:10 a.m. on Monday, June 9, authorities responded to a report of a UTV accident in the Pisgah Road area of Princeton.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the driver and passenger had been thrown from the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Princeton rescue squad transported the female passenger to Princeton Community Hospital with serious injuries.
The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office is leading the ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
