Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) New Roots Community Farm is growing!
New Roots announces that the farm is finalizing plans to expand into a new 6,000 square foot building at its old farmhouse.
The new facility will include a larger market space, teaching kitchen, workshop, and event space.
New Roots ensures the space will be open to everyone, featuring accessible restrooms, offices, and other facilities.
The project is estimated to cost $2 million.
New Roots has launched a grassroots campaign to help make this dream a reality, aiming to raise $175,000 in total and at least $50,000 by June 1.
They are asking the community to support the project by donating to the campaign or simply sharing the project’s progress to help spread the word.
