Multiple Logan County schools close early due to carbon monoxide detectors going off

Logan County, WV (WOAY) – Logan County schools say that Chapmanville Intermediate and Primary schools were dismissed early today after carbon monoxide detectors went off in the building.

The closure was a precautionary measure. No students were injured.

Logan County Schools thanked the sheriff’s department, Chapmanville Fire Department, Mountaineer Gas, and school staff for their work responding to the situation and making sure kids were safe.
