Montgomery will move city hall into old City National Bank building on March 27

MONTGOMERY, WV (WOAY) –  Montgomery City Hall is expected to move at the end of this month.

City hall will soon be in the old City National Bank building off of Fourth Avenue as they plan to move on March 27th just down the street.

Mayor Greg Ingram says they need to move because his employees need more space as he continues to hire.

“We’ve hired a few more people and honestly, I have employees in closets here,” Ingram said. “That’s their office space. We’ve just outgrown where we are, and growth is a good thing.”

Mayor Ingram says other companies are interested in what will become the old city hall building when they move out.
