Martinsburg, WV (WOAY) The Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney’s office says a Martinsburg man will spend the rest of his life behind bars following a lengthy prison sentence handed down this week.

Prosecuting attorney Joseph R. Kinser announced that on Tuesday, February 24, 33-year-old Brandon Russell Warren of Martinsburg was sentenced to between 260.5 and 908 years in prison.

He will also serve 50 years of supervised release and must register as a lifetime sex offender.

With credit for time already served, Warren will be eligible to seek parole in April of 2283.

The sentence follows a seven-day jury trial in November, where Warren was convicted on 53 charges, including sexual abuse of multiple children, solicitation, possession, and distribution of child sexual abuse material, and incest.

He was also ordered to pay $20,000 in fines, with restitution to be determined at a later date.

In a statement, Kinser thanked law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and investigators who worked on the case, and expressed gratitude to the survivors for what he called their remarkable courage in coming forward.
