Local Raleigh County woman makes yard signs for graduating seniors

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Students in their senior year of high school will finish this semester without celebrating many traditional milestones like prom and graduation.

Now a local Raleigh County woman is finding new ways to celebrate local seniors by designing custom yard signs. The signs will display the student’s name and their school’s mascot. Each sign will cost 15 dollars.

“I thought, you know that was such a great idea. Just to honor the students because they’re getting the short end of the stick cause they’re not getting the last few weeks of senior year. In fact, they didn’t get the last couple of months but at least this is something that they can enjoy,” said Yard Sign Designer Crissy Garvin.

Yard signs can be purchased on Crissy Garvin’s Facebook page called a story to tell.
