Beaver, WV (WOAY) The Little Beaver State Park’s annual Youth Fishing Derby is happening this Saturday, June 6.
The free event runs from 9:00 am to noon and is open to anglers ages 3 to 14 years old.
Registration will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and participants must be registered by an adult to qualify for prizes.
Any young anglers looking to participate will need to bring their own fishing pole, chair, bait, and bucket.
Organizers encourage families to come out and enjoy a morning of fishing and outdoor fun.
