KEYSTONE, WV (WOAY) – The city of Keystone has been under a Boil Water Advisory for several years.
Community members attended today’s press conference regarding the Keystone water system hoping to get some answers as to when they will have sustainable, clean water. They were eager to hear some positive news and be involved after years of waiting for action.
“You know, they’re eager to try to put the blame somewhere it does not belong,” said lifelong Keystone resident Hattie Avery. “But, we need answers, and there’s no reason that we should’ve gone right years with a boiling water advisory.”
Keystone residents have been trying to sustain their health as best as possible amid the current water conditions that they are facing.
