Charleston, WV (WOAY) As the summer heat continues, the Kanawha Valley Collective is opening two cooling centers to help residents stay safe.
The cooling centers will be available now through Thursday, July 2.
The CAT Office on Smith Street will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The Neighborhood Shop on Washington Street West will welcome visitors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Anyone needing relief from the heat is encouraged to stop by, cool off, and access water during operating hours.
